If you've got a basic sense of rhythm, a love for Reggae music and you're looking for something new and exciting to do away from your daily routine, then this is the place for you!

Join us for a FREE taster session. Here you can have a go on the instruments, find out what we're all about and join in with the fun. We guarantee you'll have a great time. You'll get to meet the others in the Band and enjoy a new social outlet, with a musical twist. Our sessions take place every Wednesday evening (36 weeks per annum) at The Guildhall, Dartmouth and are scheduled as follows:

 

First Group (Trinidad): Wednesdays 6.30pm - 8pm 

Second Group (Tobago): Wednesdays  8pm - 9.30pm

If you love it after having your free first go, then it's just £30 per month payable monthly in advance by standing order. If you require financial assistance, we may be able help you, so please get in touch. Joining Shine means you are joining a team and as an integral team member you'll be committing just 90 minutes of your time each Wednesday evening to learn to play your instrument, learn the repertoire and to foster that all important team spirit. Playing in a Steel Band is all about working together as a team which is why we encourage everyone to come along every week. Once you become more familiar with your instrument and begin to learn the music, you'll relax, dance and have a fantastic time!
